One night, six candles

One night, from the first lamp to the first light.

The six are written in order. After Dark begins when the house goes quiet and runs through the deep end of the night. Open Hours picks up when the fire is low and carries on until the morning is on its way.

Burn them in that order over a winter and you will have read a whole night, one candle at a time.

Every jar says plainly what is in the wax, so you know what you are buying before it arrives.

The house

What we make, and why.

There are six candles, on two shelves. The three on After Dark are for the deep end of the night, the low lamp and the last few pages. The three on Open Hours are warmer, for the fire burning down and the first light coming in. Each one is named for a spot in the house where you might sit and read, because that is how most of us remember a scent. Not by the notes in it, but by where we were.

Every candle is poured after you order it, in the USA, in a 9 oz jar with a cotton wick. We say allow about two weeks so that nobody is left waiting on a promise, but we do everything we can to get yours to you quicker than that.
